Youth dies after taking cough medicine

Village: An incident of death of a young man after taking cough medicine has taken place in Khed.

According to the information received from the police, deceased Shubham Praveen Kadam age 23, resident of Mahad Naka, village was suffering from cough for last four to five days. But instead of going to a doctor to remedy this, he had brought cough syrup from medical stores. On September 24, Shubham went to sleep at his residence after having dinner. At around 2.30 am, the family noticed that Shubham was not making any movement. Even when I tried to wake him up, there was no response from him. So Dr. Shumam. He was taken to Mulla’s hospital. At that time, the doctor there checked him and declared him dead.
