The annual award distribution ceremony of the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad at Malgund concluded with enthusiasm
Malgund: Senior journalist Uday Nirgudkar appealed that the literary writers in the society should try to create literature loaded with intense nationalism to overcome the disappointing issues happening in the society and to create a generation filled with love for the country.
He was speaking at the annual literary and non-literary award distribution ceremony organized by Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad. He further said that many organizations give awards to writers. But the award given by Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad is equivalent to the prasad grass offered by a mother to her baby. Therefore, the importance of this award is unique, and this award is being presented to us in the hands and prominent presence of sage-like personalities like Padmashri Madhu Mangesh Karna, founder president of Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad. This matter is mentioned as the biggest event in all literary life.
Racism has increased in the society to a large extent and today everyone should think of the nation instead of himself. For this, there is a need for literary writers to draw all of our society towards them and create national love in them. He also praised the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad and Kavi Keshavsut Smarak Management Committee while urging everyone to take initiative for the same.
On behalf of Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad, every year proposals are invited on behalf of Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad to inspire the writers of Konkan. Accordingly, the large number of books received at that place are examined for award 1 by an eminent examiner. So this award gives inspiration and happiness to all. That’s why this award was distributed on Sunday, 17th November 2024.
On this occasion, the lamp was first lit and then the dignitaries were welcomed and honored. Senior writer Suresh Joshi reviewed the career of Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad in the past. Meanwhile, Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad always encouraged budding writers.
The purpose for which Padmashri Madhu Mangesh Karnik, who was the president of this program, established the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad, seems to have been achieved by seeing the literary movement everywhere in Konkan today. Therefore, everyone appealed to make the work of Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad bright. The program was inaugurated by Madhav Ankalge, President of the poet Keshavsut Memorial, Gajanan Patil.
The program was attended by Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad Trustee Chief Ramesh Keer, Prakash Dalvi, Ashok Thakur, Prof. L. B. Patil, Usha Parab, Jayu Bhatkar, Nalini Kher, Deepa Thanekar, Madhukar Tilekar along with district presidents, district representatives, office bearers of various branches and members were present in large numbers.
Under the guidance of Gajanan Patil, Yuva Shakti Ratnagiri District President Arun Morye, Malgund Branch Secretary Vilas Rane, Joint Secretary Ramanand Limaye, Treasurer Ujjwala Bapat, Members Vishwanath Shirke, Swapnesh Rajwadkar, Kumar Dange, Asmita Durgwali, Pawar Madam and all the executive members have contributed to the success of this annual award ceremony.
