Ratnagiri, Dt. 13: District level Women’s Democracy Day is celebrated on the third Monday of every month in the hall of the Collectorate. Women’s Democracy Day for Mahe September 2024 has been organized on Wednesday September 18 from 11 am to 1 pm as Eid-e-Milad falls on Monday and Anant Chaturdashi on the following day.
At this time the applicant women themselves appear and submit a statement in accordance with their grievances. Accordingly, the concerned officials at the district level are instructed to take action regarding the personal issue of women.
Considering the geographical position of the district, from the point of view of the convenience of the women who cannot attend the Democracy Day, the women of the district were contacted by phone on an experimental basis. On Women’s Democracy Day on September 18, their statements/applications can be registered at the toll-free number 1077 in the collector’s office between 12 noon and 1 pm.
