Amravati; Leaders Online Desk: There are often cases of married women committing suicide due to harassment from in-laws and husbands. But a sensational incident of a husband committing suicide after being fed up with the torture of his wife has come to light in Patrawada police station limits. A case has been registered in Pattwara police against the wife who harassed her husband. The name of the deceased is Ashok Vasantrao Ingole (age 35, resident of Hiwara Budruk, District Nandgaon Khandeshwar, present resident of Gaurkheda Kumbi, District Achalpur).
According to the police, Ashok Vasantrao Ingole ended his life on December 1 in Gaurkheda Kumbhi. Due to this, Patrawada police registered a case of accidental death. However, during investigation it was found that Ashok Ingole was inspired to take this step by his wife. On the basis of that, Patrawada police has registered a case against his wife Seema Ashok Ingole (age 29, resident of Gaurkheda Kumbi) on December 21.
Ashok and Seema were married in 2012. After marriage, the couple lived in Ashok's native village Hivra Budruk for 9 years. Meanwhile, Seema took a loan of Rs 1 lakh 70 thousand from the self-help group of the village. But, he did not get along with anyone at home. She used to constantly quarrel with her in-laws. Ashoka was distressed by his behaviour. One and a half years ago, after a fight with Ashok, Seema Meheri had gone to Gaurkheda Kumbhi with her daughter. After a few days, Ashok also came to Gaurkheda Kumbhi and started living with Seema. He started working as a laborer at Shere Punjab Dhaba in Gaurkheda Kumbi. He was repaying the installments of the loan taken by Seema from the cooperative society. However, Seema used to quarrel with Ashok even after that. Their relationship was almost over. Fed up with his harassment, she took a big decision.
Told the incident to father
She was not even allowing Ashok to eat food. Constantly asking for money. Before dying, Ashok had told this to his mother on phone on 30th November and to his father on the afternoon of 1st December. While talking to his father on the phone, the call got disconnected and a few hours later his parents got the news that Ashok had committed suicide by hanging himself.
Eyewitnesses said that fed up with his wife's pain, Ashok hanged himself at his residence. Based on the statements of witnesses and the complaint of the deceased's father, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered.
