Warishe murder case will be investigated by SIT

Mumbai :- A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the murder of journalist Shashikant Warishe. Shiv Sena has become aggressive over this issue and the government has taken this big decision as anger is being expressed at the local level as well.

Journalists across the state have demanded a thorough investigation into the journalist Warishe murder case from the state government. In this background, Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has decided to form an SIT to investigate the matter.
The death case of journalist Shashikant Warishe has heated up politics in the state. Along with journalists from across the state, Warishe family and Shiv Sena have written to Fadnavis in this regard and have made serious allegations. Due to this case, pressure was increasing on the state government to take urgent steps. Against this background, the police have been ordered to form a special investigation team.

Meanwhile, soon after Fadnavis ordered the SIT, the SIT will be formed and the actual investigation will begin. Also, the case will be investigated in the fast track court. Home Minister Fadnavis had given information about this yesterday. He also promised to take strict action against the accused.
