Voting begins for Egypt’s presidential election

Voting for Egypt’s presidential election 2024 began on Sunday.

According to the National Elections Authority, the results will be announced on Dec. 18.

The vote runs for three days, starting Sunday, with a runoff scheduled for Jan. 5 to 7 abroad, and for Jan. 8 to10 within the country. The final results are set to be announced no later than Jan. 16, 2024. (QNA)
