Various measures are being implemented for the safety of male and female students in all the schools of Ratnagiri district. Instructions are being given through the education department regarding strict implementation at the school level. Education officers, group education officers, education extension officers, center heads are also conducting school-wise reviews on a daily basis. G.P. warned that action will be taken if not implemented. The administration has given. Along with the education of the school students, the issue of their safety is very important. But in recent times there have been some untoward incidents regarding the safety of school students. Therefore, the issue of their security has come to the fore. These matters are also being taken seriously at the government level. In fact orders have been issued from time to time from the government level regarding measures for the safety of school students especially girls. These measures cannot be compromised as the safety of the students is paramount. CCTV cameras should be installed in schools and premises to ensure the safety of students, teachers and non-teaching staff. Action will be taken against schools that do not comply with this provision.
