Vaibhavwadi taluka of Sindhudurg district received heavy unseasonal rain today (8th) around 4.30 to 6.45 pm. The sudden rain made everyone nervous.
The farmers are expressing the possibility that the cashew and mango crops which are currently on display will be affected due to the rain.
The last two days have been intermittently cloudy. Today evening there was sudden unseasonal rain. Especially in the areas of Karul, Kumbhavade, Karul, Navle, Sadure in the Sahyadri belt, there was heavy rain. The sudden downpour left many in a daze. But there was dew in the air. Due to this rain, the mango and cashew crops which are currently in bloom will be affected.
