Use of laser in Ganesha arrival procession, damage to eyes of youth.

Many mandals used lasers in the Ganesh arrival procession. Due to this, four people got serious eye injuries. Aditya Pandurang Bodke, a 21-year-old man from Uchgaon, Maner Mala (Karveer), has suffered severe eye damage. Currently, Aditya cannot see anything with his right eye. An ophthalmologist from a private hospital in Shastrinagar is treating him. Meanwhile, on Saturday, a senior citizen was going to the hospital with his grandson. Both of them have injured their eyes due to the laser used in the procession. Due to the noise of the sound system, they were deafened for almost half an hour. On Friday, Yuvraj Patil, a policeman who was stationed on the road for the procession, also got serious damage to his eye due to the laser rays. The concerned employee has been hospitalized.
