Under the guidance of Industries Minister Uday Samant, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajitdada Pawar, the strike of ST employees was called off, a big success.

The ST employees had taken up the weapon of strike for their various demands. Finally ST employees have called off their strike. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting with the ST Employees’ Organization Action Committee at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai. State Industries Minister Uday Samant took the initiative to hold this meeting and he was successful. Everyone’s attention was focused on what the solution would be in this meeting. Finally, a big decision has been taken to increase the basic salary of ST employees by Rs. 6 thousand 500. On the eve of Ganeshotsav, commuters going for Ganesha in Konkan were in dire straits as ST employees called a strike. Also, in some villages, there was a big dilemma for the villagers and students as no ST was leaving the depot. The cancellation of the strike has come as a huge relief to commuters across the state.
