However, considering the two-way dirt, this matter is being forgotten today. Due to this, it can be seen that an empire of garbage and dirt has been created at various places. As a result, cattle and wild animals come onto the highway to consume it, causing accidents. This breaks the series of natural accidents. Lives of dumb animals and drivers are getting endangered. A highway contractor company is seen cleaning the cement concrete highway and the divider. However, the roadsides adjacent to the highway are not seen to be cleaned adjacently. The highway has been constructed by spending crores of rupees. However, a problem has arisen regarding the cleanliness of this highway and for this, the district administration, highway authority and contractor company need to pay attention to this. While building the Mumbai Goa highway, attention to cleanliness is equally important, otherwise the highway will become a ‘dumping ground’ of garbage in the next few years. There is a need to install cleanliness boards on both sides of the highway. No one seems to be serious about the cleanliness of this highway, which is considered as the development highway of Konkan. Also, if the police check the tourists and vehicles on the highway and give lessons on cleanliness through them, the empire of dirt will be stopped. It is necessary to create public awareness by placing boards, waste bins and pictures of cleanliness messages at public traffic places on both sides of the highway.
