*Dodamarg, Day-29:-* Mayur Gundu Naik (24) and Ajay Tukaram Naik (24) from Chandgarh who were illegally transporting cattle for slaughter through Talkat Kumbhavde on Ghatmat have been stopped by the youth of Talkat and handed over to Dodamarg police. The Dodamarg police have detained the duo and registered a case on the charge of transporting cattle for slaughter. The youth of Talkat noticed that a four-wheeler Bolero pick-up vehicle was going to halt at Ghatmatha via Talkat-Kumbhawade. On Tuesday night, youths from Talkat stopped the car and questioned it. At that time the driver Mayur Naik and his companion said that they were taking the cattle for farming or rearing. As their answer was different every time, those youths called the Dodamarg police and called them to the spot. At that time, the police who came to the spot searched Gandi’s trees and at that time they noticed that there were three cattle in the car. After all the questioning, the Dodamarg police detained both the suspects and registered a case.
