Transfer of three officers in Ratnagiri Municipality

Ratnagiri: Three officers of Ratnagiri Municipality have been administratively transferred. Due to this, there has been an increase in the vacancies in the municipality. This includes deputy chiefs, engineers and property department officers.

Deputy Chief Praveen Mane has been transferred to Chiplun Municipality. Water Supply Department Engineer Avinash Bhoir has been transferred to Khopoli Municipality. He was in charge of Water Department along with Health Department of Ratnagiri Municipality. Property Department Officer Nand Kumar Patil has been transferred to Gadhinglaj. He was in charge of Water Tax Recovery Department along with Property Department. Many posts of officers and employees in the municipality are vacant. Many departments are being handled by contract workers. With the transfer of three officers, the problem of vacancies in the municipality has become more serious.
