Mumbai-* The number of voters has increased in Maharashtra ahead of the assembly elections. 16.09 lakh new voters have registered their names. Among them, the highest voter registration has been done by women. Nearly 10 lakh new women voters have been registered. While 6.8 lakh male new voters have registered in the voter list. Now nearly 9 crore fifty lakh voters are going to exercise their right to vote for the Legislative Assembly in Maharashtra. The number of new voters in the age group of 18 to 19 is negligible. Only two percent of the total voters are in the age group of 18-19. The Maharashtra Assembly elections may be held in the month of October or November. For this, the Election Commission had opened the campaign for registration of new voters. This charm has received a good response. Nearly 16.9 lakh new voters have registered their name in the electoral roll from the state. Therefore, 16.9 lakh voters have been added. The number of women in enrollment is huge. They have left men behind in this. Among the new voters, one million women have registered themselves. Compared to that, the enrollment of men has decreased. 6.8 lakh men have registered newly. According to the newly released total voters data, nearly 9.5 crore voters from the state will exercise their right to vote for the Legislative Assembly. It has a total of 4.9 male voters. So there are 4.6 crore women voters. So 5 thousand 944 voters are third party voters. Among the new voters, 164 third parties have registered. Interestingly, considering the total number of voters, it has been revealed that the number of those who voted for the first time is very less. Voters aged 18 to 19 make up only two percent of the total electorate. Assembly elections are likely to be held in October or November. Before that, the Election Commission had planned a voter registration campaign. It will be a match between Maha Vikas Aghadi and Maha Yuti for the Legislative Assembly. The Maha Vikas Aghadi defeated the Maha Yuti in the Lok Sabha elections. The Mahavikas Aghadi is eager to re-introduce it in the Assembly. That is why the opposition is being raised in the Mahayutia. The intention of Mahayuti is to win the election with the strength of Ladaki Bahin Yojana.
