Today Mahavikas Aghadi is holding ‘Jode Maro’ movement in Mumbai. Sharad Pawar and Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj walked in the march for some time. After that, these two have left for Gateway of India by car. The march will end by saluting the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Gateway of India area. Leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi will address on this occasion. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the pride of Maharashtra… We will not tolerate his humiliation. On this occasion ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji’ was chanted. Saying ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki Jai’, hundreds of activists have left towards the Gateway of India. Earlier this march was not allowed by the police. But today is Sunday. The barricades have also been removed. This march has now left towards the Gateway of India. A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was erected at Rajkot fort in Malvan in Sindhudurg district. The statue was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 2023. But the statue collapsed just eight months after its inauguration.
