The leopard cubs found in a closed shed at Chikhali in Sangameshwar taluk reached a safe place in the forest after the efforts of the forest department. Retired employees Ashok Mahadev Swamy and Shashikant Dingankar were out for some work on Sunday afternoon when they saw the cubs. After informing the forest department, a team of forest department along with divisional forest officer Girija Desai immediately reached the spot and cameras were installed on behalf of the forest department. The remaining cub was moved by the female to the safety of the forest the next day. After this, the forest department breathed a sigh of relief.
