* Nhaveli, D-21:-* At Keniwada on Madura-Padlos-Nhavel road, the side of the road caved in about three feet while giving way to an oncoming vehicle. However, due to the intervention of the tempo driver, disaster was averted. The Public Works Department is blessed with only stoning and asphalting. But Mahesh Kubal, former president of Padalos Tantamukti Samiti, said that such accidents happen due to convenient neglect of the dangerous side lane. Also, the villagers have demanded that measures be taken before a major accident occurs. If immediate measures are not taken, there is a possibility of a major accident.
