Kankavali:- Mrs. Malini Sham Patkar (87), who lives near Jangameshwar Temple in Harkul Budruk-Jangamwadi, was sitting in her house praying with rosary, when two unknown thieves entered her house, covered her face with a handkerchief and pulled a two and a half tola gold necklace from her neck. After screaming in resistance, the thieves fled the premises leaving the shoes. Malini Patkar’s lip has been injured in this.

This incident happened on Friday around 2 pm. Around 2 pm, two unknown youths suddenly entered the house of Malini Patkar. Within a few moments, the thieves came from behind and pulled the gold necklace from Malini’s neck with a handkerchief-like flap. In this case, the Kankavali police have registered a case against the unknown thieves.
