The villagers of Kondgaon stopped the work of making the highway four-lane

Mirya-Nagpur National Highway four-lane work is currently going on at a fast pace in Sakharpa, Kondgaon area. The contractor company has refrained from giving any information to the local administration and villagers. The Kondgaon Gram Panchayat has stopped the work of quadrilateralization due to not providing information about the height of the road, roads connecting the palaces, schools and hospitals.
The General Manager of the company entered the Kondgaon Gram Panchayat due to this. The villagers of Kondgaon started making accusations against the General Manager. Gram panchayat officials, members, villagers became aggressive and bombarded the managers of the contractor company with questions. While the development is taking place, the villagers took the right stand that the common citizens should not be disturbed. As the company did not submit any plan of the proposed road, the villagers became more aggressive.
The company has not yet provided an alternative route to Medhe, Dalviwadi, Vaniwadi, Kondgaon Titha, Baingwadi, Shindewadi, Joyshiwadi, Muralidhar Ali, Rohidaswadi etc. in Kondgaon Gram Panchayat. The company has not clarified whether the junction will be at Kondgaon Titha or over bridge. The villagers have opposed the company on the issues of accidents, traffic etc.
