The book launch ceremony of the first complete Malvani novel Sukya Sungatachi Kadhi was concluded on September 14 at Shivaji Vachan Mandir, Bharad in Malvan town of Sindhudurg district. This is the first novel of Malvan author Suyog Pandit and the ceremony was concluded in the presence of businessman and writer Rujario Pinto and former corporator and entrepreneur Nitin Walke. This novel has a foreword by senior journalist Vijay Shetty and actor Pandharinath aka Paddy Kamble has endorsed the cover. Painters Balram Samant and Darshan Samant have designed the cover of this novel.
In the beginning of this lecture program, the Director Sanjay Shinde welcomed the dignitaries and the attendees. After that, the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by offering garlands to the image of Shri Devi Saraswati by the dignitaries. Writer Suyog Pandit’s mother and chief organizers of the program, writers Vaishali Pandit and Nazira Sheikh welcomed the dignitaries with shrifruits and gifts, while moderator Sanjay Shinde introduced the program.
After this the novel Sukya Sungatachi Kadhi was published. The dignitaries took out a copy of the novel Sukya Sungatachi Kadhi from the kitchen sink and this novel was published and read in a unique way.
On this occasion, the author Suyog Pandit narrated his experiences during the writing of this novel in his mind and expressed his gratitude to the writers who inspired his writing.
After this honorable Mr. Rujario Pinto greeted the novel with a Malvani poem and gave a brief synopsis of the novel. He said that Suyog Pandit, understanding the responsibility of Malvani writing, should preserve his versatility and write in the right way. While preserving our culture, following the culture of others, the speaker and dignitary Mr. Nitin Valke, while appreciating the novel, said that it is a great courage of the author Suyog Pandit to write the novel “Sukya Sungatachi Kadhi” in today’s times and to publish it in front of the readers. Nitin Valke also made a strong comment on the attitudes and forces that try to spread hatred on social platforms and live together. The novel Sukya Sungatachi Kadhi has made a distinct impression in the changing times in literature and as it is the first Malvani novel, Nitin Valke congratulated the novel and wished the author Suyog Pandit.
