Seeing the poor condition of the roads leading to the railway station, Minister Chavan took the initiative to concretize these roads. Not only this, by updating and beautifying 9 railway stations in Konkan, it has given a pleasant shock to the passengers and a valuable contribution to the growth of tourism. Some railway stations have been inaugurated and work of other stations including Ratnagiri is in progress. This can be seen as a particularly remarkable work. Construction Minister Ravindra Chavan paid special attention to streamline the work of Mumbai-Goa highway and respect the sentiments of Konkanians as the work has been delayed. Ravidada speeded up the work by reviewing the work every month, finding out why the work is delayed, what are the obstacles and solving the problems at that place. During Ganeshotsav, special precautions were taken to ensure smooth and safe journey of the servants on this road. This highway will be completed in the near future. Ravidada did not hesitate to give huge funds for the Teli Samaj Bhawan in Ratnagiri, for the construction of sheds for cow service at the Shantipith in Someshwar. He is known as a studious, thorough understanding of issues, a hearty personality. Ravidada has been working in BJP for many years. In 2002, he got the post of Kalyan sub-district president of BYU, corporator in 2005, chairman of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation Standing Committee in 2007. He got the honor of becoming the first MLA of Dombivli Assembly Constituency in the 2009 elections. In 2014 and 2019, Dombivlikar expressed his confidence for the third time in a row by getting the highest number of votes in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. In 2020, he was appointed as the General Secretary of BJP Maharashtra Pradesh and the party gave him a big responsibility. When the Shinde-Fadnavis cabinet came into existence, the party gave the cabinet ministership with confidence. He is managing the public works account. He is also working efficiently as the guardian minister of two districts namely Palghar and Sindhudurg. The central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the race of progress by keeping the development policy of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”. During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Ravidas was given the responsibility of the Konkan cluster and the BJP Grand Alliance won all the seats in Konkan. Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg seat was won by former Chief Minister, former Union Minister, MP Narayan Rane. Ravidada played the role of kingmaker in all these elections. During the last two years, development works worth 92 thousand crores were done across the state through the public works department. For the first time in the 75 years since independence, development work has been done through this department on such a large scale. The Public Works Department is working to improve the roads of the villages in every corner of the state. This has made it possible for these villages to travel on good roads for the first time. Ravidada is making all his efforts to increase the strength of BJP in Ratnagiri. In this regard, the latest contact office of BJP is standing along the highway at Kuwarbav. Ravidada has taken all the responsibility for this. They are trying to make BJP 100%.
