The meeting of Industries Minister Uday Samant and ST Employees Action Committee was fruitless.

The strike called by various ST organizations across the state has further intensified. The meeting of Industries Minister Uday Samant and ST Employees Action Committee to find a solution to this strike was fruitless. No solution was found in this meeting. Therefore, the Action Committee has expressed its determination to continue this strike. Uday Samant had requested to call off the strike so as not to cause any inconvenience to the passengers during Ganeshotsav. However, the ST employees’ unions have taken the stand that they will remain firm on the strike until their demands are met. Therefore, no solution could be found in this meeting. Tomorrow (Wednesday, September 4) the action committee will hold a discussion with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Sahyadri guest house.
