The leakage of the administrative building here, which was constructed at a cost of three crore thirty nine lakh rupees in just three years, has revealed a pattern of substandard work. As the rainwater seeps into the ground floor area, the officers and employees along with the citizens who come to the Tehsildar office for daily work are suffering. Already, the construction work of this building had to be counted for 6 years. However, due to the shoddy work done, the issue of everyone’s safety has come to the fore. After the funds of Rs. 3 crore 29 lakhs were approved for the work of the central administrative building due to the efforts of former Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam, in May 2015, in the testimony of then Public Works Minister Chandrakant Patil, then Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam, then Guardian Minister Ravindra Waikar.
