The incident of an adult’s body being found in a well at Khandotri-Deulwadi in Chiplun taluka came to light around 9 pm on Sunday. A case of sudden death has been registered in Sawarde police station in this case. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Vishram Kodare (55, Khandotri-Deolwadi). According to the police, Deepak Kodare left the house after dinner saying that he was going to a meeting in the wadi under the influence of alcohol. But he kept his slippers and battery outside the house. When he did not come home after a long time, his wife Dipali Kodare and son Roshan Kodare went to the wadi and searched but could not find him.
