Dodamarg, D-17:- An accident between a Bolero pick-up and a two-wheeler at Vaigantad on Dodamarg Tilari Marg this morning resulted in the death of two critically injured persons. Santosh Madhukar Shetkar (52) of Ghotgewadi, a two-wheeler, and Anamika Mingel Soz (42) of Tilari. Shetkar died while undergoing treatment at Bamboli, Goa. Meanwhile, a case has been registered in the Dodamarg police against four-wheeler driver Adam Hussain Naikwadi (38) in connection with this accident. The residents of Ghodgewadi have become aggressive in this matter and they have demanded the police to file a case against Naikwadi under drink and drive, alleging that he indulged in alcohol instead of filing a case against him.

On the way, Anamika Mingal Soz, who was standing on the road in Tilari, asked Shetkar for a lift and he gave her a lift. While these two were coming from Tilari to Bhedshi, when they reached Vaigantad, a Bolero pick-up train going from Bhendshi to Tilari hit them hard. The impact was so strong that the front part of the bike was shattered. In an accident, Shetkar’s head hit a Bolero pick-up car. He suffered a serious head injury. And profuse bleeding started.
