Ratnagiri, Dt. 24 (Jimaca): The district has mainly engineering, chemical and fruit processing industries. In order to provide skilled manpower available in this industrial sector, it is proposed to set up skill development training center at Ratnagiri to improve the quality of technical education, create infrastructure and learning environment for trained manpower, increase employability and support MSEs. Tata Technologies Ltd. and M.A. Vs. A skill development center will be constructed at Ratnagiri in association with the corporation. The responsibility of the maintenance of the missionaries will remain with the corporation from the fourth year. Apart from this residential facility will be provided to TTL employees / SMEs through Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation on fee charging basis if possible.
