Mumbai : Swami Swaroopanand Cooperative Credit Union has completed 300 crore deposits today and the organization is ready to welcome the new year by celebrating it. Adv.Deepak Patwardhan, president of the institute, said that the tireless work done till date has been worthwhile as the institution which started with a share capital of only 10 thousand has become an institution with 300 crore deposits in 32 years.
This journey was achieved by experiencing Swami Kripa and gaining the support and trust of all stakeholders and depositors. Adv.Patvardhan also expressed his belief that the net economy is experiencing a proud moment due to the abundant support given by 45 thousand customer members and it is now marking the milestone of 500 crores and with the support of member depositors.
To welcome the New Year, the organization's New Year Welcome Deposit Scheme is starting from January 1 and in this, the organization has announced an attractive interest rate scheme of 8% for general and 8.25% for senior citizens and women for 15 months to 18 months. For the period of 19 to 36 months, the interest rate will be 8.25% for general and 8.50% for senior citizens and women. As on 31st December 2023 i.e. at the end of the 3rd quarter, the deposits of the institution have reached 300 crores 94 lakhs and the loans have reached 208 crores 94 lakhs. The investment of the organization is 137 crores 63 lakhs and the own funds of the organization is 42 crores 22 lakhs. The recovery of the institution is 99.38% and CRAR is 23.22. All the above financial criteria indicate a strong financial condition and the president of the institute, Adv. Deepak Patwardhan, has appealed to take advantage of these attractive interest rates of the institute while wishing the best wishes for the new year at the end of December 31.
