Sunday is the first day of autumn in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH โ€” Sunday, Sept. 1, is the first day of autumn meteorologically in Saudi Arabia, marking the last days of the summer season. This was disclosed by Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the National Center of Meteorology.

He said that autumn will be a rainy and volatile season. โ€œThe NCM will soon issue a detailed report on the salient features of this yearโ€™s autumn season,โ€ he said.

It is noteworthy that the summer season ends meteorologically in early September, but it is expected that temperatures will remain high until the middle of the month with fluctuations in temperatures and changes in pressure values after mid-September.

The rainy weather is witnessing in Makkah, Madinah and some other regions during the current days.
