Stolen goods, as many as 300 mobile phones stolen in Ganapati immersion procession in Pune

Pune, D-20:- A flurry of thieves was seen in immersion procession in Pune. It is seen that even with the deployment of strict security system by the police, the thieves looted the belongings of the citizens. It is reported that the thieves stole the mobile phones of 300 citizens during the immersion procession. In this case, cases have been registered in different police stations including Faraskhana, Vishram Bagh, Khadak, Samarth in the central region.

Most of the incidents of mobile theft have taken place within the limits of Vishram Bagh Police Station. Thieves have stolen 91 mobile phones on the main procession route. Faraskhana police have arrested two members of the gang of mobile thieves from Madhya Pradesh and Nashik and seized 21 mobile phones worth two lakh 79 thousand. Lakshmi road, Kumthekar road, Kelkar road, Tilak road were crowded on Tuesday evening to watch the immersion procession. Lakshmi road was the most crowded. Belbagh Chowk to Lokmanya Tilak Chowk has seen the most cases of mobile theft.
