Smuggling of diesel from fishing boat in Anjanvel, nine arrested, goods worth Rs 2 crore seized along with stolen boat

According to confidential information received by the Guhagar police while patrolling at Anjanvel within the limits of Guhagar police station in Ratnagiri district, between 01 and 03 night, Guhagar police arrested nine people while illegally smuggling diesel from a fishing boat with the help of a motor and pipe. Materials used for smuggling are fishing boats, motors and pipes on boats, tankers MH-46-BM-8457, Baleno car MH-46-BK-2568, 25000 liters of diesel with the help of motor and material from fishing boat, nine mobiles in the possession of the accused totaling Rs.2,05,95,000 (two crore five lakh ninety five 1000) worth of goods were seized. Also, a total of nine suspects were detained.
