Silent protest of Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule started in Pune in protest of Badlapur incident, leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi participated.

Pune: Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule and leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi held a silent protest in Pune to protest against the incident of rape of schoolgirls in Badlapur. A Maha Vikas Aghadi had called today on August 24 to protest the incident in Badlapur.*However, a petition was filed in the Bombay High Court yesterday against this Maharashtra Bandh. A hearing was held on this petition in the High Court. The court clarified that the political party has no right to shut down Maharashtra in any way, clarifying that the shutdown is illegal. After this, NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar party president Sharad Pawar posted on X (Twitter) and appealed to withdraw tomorrow’s Maharashtra Bandh. The leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi responded to that call and decided to hold a silent protest at various places across the state. Against that backdrop Dr. Pune Station. NCP President Sharad Pawar, MP Supriya Sule along with leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi sat for a silent protest near the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar. Sharad Pawar is sitting at the protest site with a black mask on his face. Other participating leaders have tied black ribbons.
