Shankarao Milke bagged 03 silver and 01 bronze medals in Swimming Federation of India's 19th National Masters Swimming Championships.

The 19th National Masters Swimming Championship 2022–2023 organized by the Swimming Federation of India was held from 24 to 26 November 2023 in Mangalore, Karnataka. Former soldier Shankarao Milke participated in this competition and earned a total of four medals namely 03 silver medals and 01 bronze medal. Especially Mr. Milke is 82 years old and at this age he has done this glorious and admirable feat.
Mr. Kumar Shetye, Vice President of Sharad Pawar Group of Nationalist Congress Party of Nationalist Congress Party, noted this different performance of Milke and Shri. Milke was felicitated by the Nationalist Party in Ratnagiri. State Vice President Kumar Shetye, Ratnagiri District President Sudesh Mayekar, State Secretary Bashir Murtuza, OBC District President Siddhesh Shivalkar, Women Taluka President Shashim Naik and party officials and workers were present on the occasion of this felicitation ceremony.
Mr. Milke has achieved success in the following categories. 01) 50m freestyle 2nd place, silver medal 2) 100m freestyle 2nd place, silver medal 03) 100m breast stroke 2nd place silver medal 04) 50m breast stroke 3rd place bronze medal.
A total of 3400 male/female contestants of various age groups and disciplines from across India participated in this competition held at Mangalore Karnataka. Mr. A total of 8 contestants participated in each category and each age group edited by Milke. Mr. Milke is being congratulated everywhere for this success.
