Savarde: Dr. Krishi Bhushan. Tanajirao Chorge Institute of Education and Research Govindraoji Nikam Agricultural College and Jijamata Women’s Agricultural College, Mandki-Palwan. A seminar was held on 20/08/2024 on the topic of Highways of Agri-Tourism Rich Agriculture.
During this program, the Chief Executive Officer of the organization Mr. Dr. Nikhil Chorge introduced the program and introduced Mr. Pandurang Tavre, Chairman of Agriculture Tourism and Development Corporation. Mr. Mr. Pandurang Taware guided the students on agritourism and opportunities in agritourism. Farmers should not rely only on the production of agricultural products but should try to use their agriculture for tourism and how to increase the production from their farms. He also informed about the plans of Maharashtra government for farmers to start agro tourism.
At the time of this program Mr. Pandurang Tavre and his colleague Ms. Vaishalitai Tavre were felicitated. His colleagues Arun Suryavanshi, Arun were present for this program. Sanket Kadam, Principal of Jijamata Women’s Agricultural College Dr. Shamika Chorge, Vice Principal B. B. Suryavanshi and all faculty classes and students were present.
