Saudi Pro League partners with Webook as official ticketing platform

Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Saudi Pro League has announced a partnership with Webook, making it the official ticketing platform for the league for the upcoming three seasons, beginning with the 2024-2025 season.

This collaboration will provide flexibility to participating clubs, allowing them to introduce new services and products, such as early ticket releases and season tickets tailored to each club’s preferences.

In its initial phase, Webook will support clubs with technical assistance, continuous promotion, and marketing of tickets, contributing to increased sales.

Additionally, the platform aims to enhance the fan experience by simplifying access for both local and international audiences through a unified ticketing site for league matches.

Clubs will retain all ticket revenues, without affecting the allocation of seats for home and away fans, which is set at 70% for the home team and 30% for the visiting team, as per the league’s operational regulations.

Host clubs will have the authority to set ticket prices, ensuring affordability for all fans. The minimum ticket price will be set at SR10, with a requirement that 30% of the stadium’s capacity be sold at prices not exceeding SR30.

The league is also working towards implementing a fully digital ticketing system through Webook, with plans to integrate the platform with club websites, offering multiple online outlets for ticket purchases. Additionally, a dedicated ticketing section will be available on the league’s official website, ensuring easy access for fans.

The role of the Saudi Pro League will be to oversee the ticketing process, help curb the black market, and ensure that clubs receive their appropriate share of stadium capacity, as outlined in the regulations, while making ticket purchases as accessible as possible for fans.
