Saudi Defense Minister meets Qatari Emir in Doha

DOHA— Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Doha on Monday. This is in line with the directives of the Saudi leadership.

Their discussions focused on further enhancing the strong fraternal ties between the two countries. They also explored avenues to bolster security and stability in the region.

Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to the Qatari Emir, and wished continued progress and prosperity to the Emir, his government, and people of Qatar.

On his part, the Emir conveyed his greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince.

High ranking Saudi and Qatari officials attended the meeting.. The Saudi delegation included Minister of Transport and Logistics Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.

The Qatari delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Attiyah, Chief of the Emiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, and Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al-Sulaiti.
