DOHA β Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, co-chaired the 7th meeting of the joint Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council in Doha on Tuesday.
The council meeting reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various fields, especially in the fields of political, security, economic, and investment for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
The council discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, especially the latest developments and the situation in the region. The meeting also exchanged views on everything that would contribute to achieving stability and security in the region. The Crown Prince and the Emir also witnessed the exchange of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields.
From the Saudi side, the council meeting was attended by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari, Head of General Intelligence Khaled Al-Humaidan, and Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan.
It was attended from the Qatari side by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, deputy emir, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Attiyah, deputy prime minister and minister of state for defense affairs, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa, minister of interior and commander of the Forces, and other senior officials.
Later, Emir Sheikh Tamim saw off Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as he and the accompanying delegation left Hamad International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, after heading the Kingdomβs delegation to 44th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf States, and the seventh meeting of the joint Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council.
