Ratnagiri : The stone-climbing and inauguration ceremony of the Shree Marleshwar temple at Angavali (Sangameswar) will be held on January 13. On this occasion, various religious programs have been organized in the temple from 12th to 14th January.
On January 12, flag hoisting will be held at 7.20 am, Vaastu Shant will be held at 8 am. Maha Aarti will be held at 12 noon, Maha Prasad will be distributed from 1.30 pm to 3 pm. A procession of deities will be taken out from Someshwar temple to Galeshwar temple from 3.30 pm to 6 pm. Deepotsava is organized at 7 pm. An entertainment program 'Kokancha Saaj-Sangameshwari Baj' will be presented from 7 pm to 10 pm. So on January 13th at 8 am Pranapratistha, Varad Shankar will be worshipped. The climbing ceremony will be held at 12.20 pm. After that Mahaprasad will be distributed till 3 pm. Haldi ceremony before Kalyan will be held from 4 to 6 pm. Opening ceremony, souvenir release, welcome ceremony will be held from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
On Sunday, January 14, the pre-Kalyan ritual will begin with the arrival of dindyas, palkhas associated with Sri Marleshwar Kalyan Vidhi. All the palanquins will leave for the peak of Sri Marleshwar at 12 midnight. On this occasion, the Sri Marleshwar Devasthan Charitable Trust of Angavli and the villagers appealed that maximum number of citizens should attend all the religious programs organized at the Shree Marleshwar Dev Temple in Angavali for three consecutive days.
