RIYADH — Riyadh Mayoralty launched the second nursery facility at Hamad Al-Jasser Park in Al-Mohammediyah neighborhood, as part of its plans to humanize parks.
This is to take advantage of the partnerships and agreement signed by the mayoralty with the company Qara for Nurseries with the aim of enhancing the mayoralty’s initiatives in the field of social services and achieving the aspirations of the local residents. The Qara Gardens project is an after-school entertainment center that provides educational and skill-based activities with an hourly subscription system.
Qara Gardens were launched with the opening of the first nursery at Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Park in Al-Hamra district, as a result of a memorandum of understanding signed by the Riyadh Region Mayoralty and Qara Company for Children’s Nurseries to stimulate the humanization of residential neighborhoods, and develop and improve the services of the municipal sector in the capital city.
The company obtained an international accreditation certificate for the quality of children’s nurseries from the British NDNA organization as the first nursery operator in the Kingdom to obtain such a certificate. The project provides a safe environment for children, under the supervision of specialists in the field of childhood, offering various weekly workshops throughout the month, such as honey and bee workshops, snow workshops and various activities that aim to develop sensory skills, enhance physical activity, and other skills that cater to the taste of different age groups. This is in addition to investing the child’s time in development, and enhancing skills, in a way that attracts residents and visitors and meets the aspirations of residents.
The launch of the second nursery in Hamad Al-Jasser Park in Al-Mohammediyah district comes as an extension of Riyadh Mayoralty’s strategy to activate its qualitative partnerships, and activate the role of the private sector in achieving growth and development, and humanizing the city. This is in accordance with the mayoralty’s plans and initiatives and activating its role in serving residents, visitors, and community development, in order to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for Riyadh to be among the top 10 global cities.
