Mumbai :In government schools with 10 and less than 10 seats in the state, teachers will now be appointed on contract basis. The state government on Monday decided to appoint unemployed D.Ed., B.Ed.
Earlier, unemployed D.Ed, B.Ed qualified candidates had expressed strong displeasure over the appointment of a retired teacher as per the decision taken on September 5. After this decision, the way for the recruitment of unemployed candidates has been cleared.
Affidavit to be given by appointed teacher-
The teacher appointed on contract basis will be required to take an undertaking to complete the work of the teacher post on contractual basis during the period of appointment. Teaching hours will be like regular teachers. The appointment will be made by calling for applications from the candidates at the district level.
Retired teachers appointed on contract basis and D. Ed. And the service of BEd qualified contract teachers will continue till appointment of regular teacher. The service of a contract teacher will be terminated after appointment of regular teachers,
15 thousand stipend per month-
1) The number of schools with low pass marks is up to 15 thousand. Contract teachers will be appointed in such schools. The appointment will be made on a salary of Rs.15 thousand per month. A candidate selected from D.Ed, B.Ed qualifications will not be entitled to service induction, accommodation and any other benefits of regular service.
2) Further, the appointment shall be for one year and the appointment shall be renewable on the basis of merit and merit.
