At Hatkhamba, Ratnagiri, Udaya Samant Pratishthan and Naman Lokkala Ratnagiri District (Reg.) Taluka Branch Ratnagiri, Konkan Naman Kalamanch Ratnagiri in association with ‘Sanman Folk Artists’ participated in the event. The ancient culture of Konkan is being preserved even today through the art of Naman, Jakhadi and Bhajan. Our culture is still alive today because of these folk artists. Honoring the folk artists of Konkan means honoring our roots. At this time, our Mahayuti government is doing the work of giving royal shelter to folk art. This year also it has been decided to start pension for many folk artists. The blessings of these artistes are lucky for me and also said that Naman Mahotsav will be started soon in Ratnagiri. On this occasion, District President of Konkan Naman Kalamanch Prabhakar Kamble, Founder Sridhar Khapare, Shri. Shantaram Malap, Shri. Yuyutsu Arte, Treasurer Suresh Yejare, Devrukh Vice Chairman Shri. Thele, Tehsildar Shri. Mhatre, Group Development Officer Shri. Jadhav along with a large number of Naman lovers were present.
