It has been a month now. However, thousands of schools in the district have not yet installed CCTVs. Therefore, parents have claimed that girls in schools are unsafe.

After the government passed the order, the secondary education department has issued a letter to 478 schools and ordered them to install CCTVs immediately. However, the statistics of how many schools have CCTV installed so far is not available with the Secondary Education Department. The Primary Education Department has requested a fund of eight and a half crore rupees from the District Planning Committee to install CCTVs in Zilla Parishad schools.
