Ratnagiri: The health of the citizens along with the vegetable vendors is in danger due to sewage water flowing directly into the street in the weekly market of the city. It is coming to the fore that the sewers in the city are overflowing, and the waste water is flowing directly through the streets.
There is a huge traffic of citizens as well as vehicles in the weekly market. Many foreign traders come and sell their goods in this market. The number of people who come here daily to buy vegetables is also more. However, the traders are being inconvenienced as the sewage is flowing on the road. It is seen that water is accumulating in places. Citizens have to travel through this smelly water. The municipal officials concerned did not wake up even though the overflowing sewer water came to the road. Before the Ratnagiri Smart City, the question is being raised whether the problem of sewers in the city will be resolved permanently.

Due to sewage from the sewers coming to the road, dirty water splashes on the bodies of the citizens when the vehicles come and go. Therefore, there is a demand from the citizens along with the traders that the city council should take immediate notice of the problem here and take proper measures so that the chamber in the area does not overflow and the dirty water does not flow on the road.
