Ratnagiri News : Prohibitory injunction in Ratnagiri district till October 16

Ratnagiri Additional District Magistrate Chandrakant Suryavanshi issued a preventive injunction order as per Section 37 (1) (3) of the Maharashtra Police Act in the entire district from midnight on 2 October to 12 midnight on 16 October in order to maintain law and order in the district.

In the district, various political parties, various organizations organize agitation programs for their various demands from the citizens of different constituents. In the district National Highway Mumbai-Goa no. Agitation programs are held to protest the non-completion of the work of 66. At such a time, if the demands of the agitators are not accepted, a law and order situation arises. Also during the period from 3rd October to 12th October Navratri Festival, d. Dussehra and Dhammachakra Pravartan Day festival will be celebrated on October 12. Against this backdrop, injunctions have been issued as it is necessary to maintain law and order in the district.

This act is prohibited
Carrying weapons, clubs, swords, guns, spears or any other object capable of causing bodily harm. Carrying around any inflammable or explosive material that burns the limbs. Carrying around, collecting or preparing stones or other weapons, weapons or implements for throwing weapons. Making speeches or boasting or manufacturing any article or jinn and spreading it among the people which is against civility or morals or endangers the peace. Showing images of isams or corpses or figures. Proclaiming public rituals, singing songs, playing instruments. Five or more isms are prohibited from coming together without permission.

Prohibitory orders will not apply to these matters
Funerals, religious ceremonies, weddings, social festivals, government events, etc., government employees, public entertainment cinemas, theaters, etc.

Also, if any march, procession and assembly election campaign meeting is to be organized during the period of prohibitory order, the written permission of the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate must be obtained and only after taking such permission, the above prohibitory order shall not be applicable.

Any person who violates the above order will be dealt with under Section 37 (1) (3) of Maharashtra Police Act 1951 Act 22 of 1951.
