Ratnagiri : A case has been registered in the Purnagad police station against the person who was illegally carrying 9 liters of liquor of Gavathi Hatbhatti for sale at Golap in the taluka. The suspect has been registered as Ravindra Hari Shedge (age 49, Res. Pavas Nalevathar, Ratnagiri). Police constable Lalit Devuskar has filed a complaint against him. Accordingly, this action was taken while the suspect was illegally possessing 9 liters of liquor worth Rs.950 for sale. A case has been registered against him under section 65 (e) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949.
