Ranbhaji Mahotsav celebrated with enthusiasm in Halbe College

Dodamarg, D-03:- During the monsoon season, Konkan offers a variety of wild vegetables. Nutritionally, it is rich in vitamins and nutrients. If it is used in the diet, the body gets the necessary nutrients in abundance. Also diabetes controlling, choleretic, choleretic, hemoglobin enhancing and other factors are obtained from this wild vegetable. Ranbhaji Mahotsav was celebrated in Lakshmibai Sitaram Halbe College in collaboration with Department of Hospitality Studies and Lifelong Studies and Extension with the main objective of re-introducing wild vegetables to the generation that is moving away from wild vegetables in the era of fast food.
On this occasion, the students exhibited Sadha Kurdu, Ran Kurdu, Charchara Bhaji, Komche, Tere, Potato, Tykala, Shagulbhaji, Suranbhaji, Red Bhaji and other vegetables and their products. Dialect names, scientific name, vitamins, and dietary uses etc. of each vegetable. The information of the items was given through charts. The festival was inaugurated by the principal of the college Dr. Done by Subhash Sawant. For the organization of this festival, the Head of Hospitality Studies Prof. Rohan Bagkar, Prof. Darshani Kotkar, as well as D. L. L. etc. Extension working teacher Dr. Sopan Jadhav and Prof. Guided by Bhagyashree Gavas. A large number of faculty, non-teaching staff and students were present for this festival.
