Ratnagiri : Dr. Padma Bhushan, the founder of Ryat Education Institute by Abasaheb Marathe College at Vikhare-Gothane (T.Rajapur) Rajapur. The 137th birth anniversary of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, a procession was taken out in the city to the beat of Dholtasha, a traditional musical instrument.
On the occasion of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil’s birth anniversary, a yatra was organized by the college from Zakat Naka to Jawahar Chowk in the city. The placards in the hands of the participating students attracted everyone’s attention. Through the procession, the biography of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, who opened the path of education to the common people from Maratha College through Ryat Shikshan Sanstha, was unfolded in front of everyone. Principal Dr. Under the guidance of Rajaram Rathod, Vice Principal Dr. Dr. Ghanshyam Harale, Head of Marathi Department. A large number of students, teachers, non-teaching staff, villagers participated along with Sanjay Mistry, Assistant Professor of Hindi Department, Abhijit Shevde.
