Protest over Rajapur Road Railway Station issue – Konkan Today

As the Konkan Railway Administration is not paying attention to the problems of Rajapur Road Railway Station despite correspondence and meeting in person, the Village Development Committee of Panchkroshi in this area has decided to start a hunger strike or mass movement. The resolution of Village Development Committee has been passed in the recently held meeting.
The general annual meeting of Panchkroshi Gram Vikas Samiti was held in Mumbai under the chairmanship of President Anil Bhowad. This decision was taken at this time. Development works in Panchkroshi were discussed. It was decided to meet Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with Guardian Minister Uday Samant regarding Super Multispeciality Hospital. It was decided to meet the Railway Minister soon and request him to take action regarding the facilities in Rajapur Road Railway Station and also regarding stopping of some trains. In this regard, it was decided to go on a hunger strike or a large mass movement soon in the month of March or April, if they do not take notice even after repeated letters to the administration.
