Ratnagiri: Keeping in view the rush of Chakarmanyas returning to Mumbai in large numbers after Ganpati immersion, the Konkan Railway administration has announced six special trains from Khed. d. These special trains have been planned for three consecutive days on September 13, 14, 15 from Khed station. These trains coming to the village are going to take the Chakarmanyas who came to Ganeshotsav back to Mumbai.
These trains will run till Panvel. These unreserved trains will depart from Khed station at 6 in the morning and 3.30 in the afternoon. These trains will have twenty coaches. These trains will have stops at all stations from Khed to Rohry. Further these trains will stop at Roha and Panvel. d. However, the train departing at 3:30 PM on September 15 will run up to CST M. This train will also stop at Panvel, Dadar and Thane stations. Due to the announcement of these trains, it will be possible to reduce the crowd in Khed station of Konkan Railway.
