Sangameshwar: The students of Paisa Fund English School and Junior College, Sangameshwar participated enthusiastically in the painting competition organized today by the Education Department Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri under the initiative Swachhta Hich Seva.
The art department of Paisa Fund English School Sangameshwar organized this competition today from 10 am to 12 pm. A total of 36 students in class 5th to 7th and a total of 45 students in class 8th to 9th participated in the competition. At the beginning of the competition, the purpose of the competition was explained to the students by the art department. Forts are symbols of our rich history and bravery. As this historical heritage will continue to inspire many generations to come, cleaning and maintaining cleanliness is our first duty. Since this is the main purpose of organizing the competition, students were appealed to participate enthusiastically in such cleanliness drive whenever possible.
After understanding the history of the fort, the students drew and painted various forts within two hours. Institute Secretary Dhananjay Shetye, Principal Sachindev Khamkar, Supervisor Dilip Morge Adini have congratulated the participating and successful students for this initiative of Art Department.
In this competition in 5th to 7th group 1st place – Prem Sandesh Dhadwe, 2nd place – Harsh Rakshapal Lodhi Rajput, 3rd place – Harish Rakshapal Lodhi Rajput, etc. In the 8th to 10th category, the first rank has been secured by Rishabh Vishwanath Narbekar, second rank by Swar Deepak Surve, third rank by Shivam Suresh Gurav.
