The incident of an accident between a car and a two-wheeler took place in front of the government rest house at Kapsal on the Mumbai-Goa highway at around 9.15 pm on Sunday. The adult riding the bike died during treatment on Monday. A case has been registered against the car driver in Chiplun police station in connection with this accident.
The name of the car driver against whom a case has been registered is Nishant Shanesh Kumar Lakde (22, Kapsal). In this accident, Shripat Mahadev Tambade (48, Kapsal) died during treatment and two wheeler Shashikant Shantaram Mahadik (Kapsal) was seriously injured.
